PhD Gadruates - Sorbonne University

This research focuses on the doctoral supervision you received at Sorbonne University: implemented supervision practices, supervisor-supervisee relationships, positive and negative aspects, and needs. Our goal is to gather feedback from recent graduates of Sorbonne University on this topic. We are also interviewing current PhD students, but your experience is of particular interest to us.

This is an opportunity to share your thoughts on the subject!

 

The results will allow us to assess the state of doctoral supervision at Sorbonne University and to propose useful resources for daily work. You will receive a summary of the results regardless.

 

A few details:

  • Participation in this study is voluntary and completely anonymous.
  • This questionnaire is intended for Sorbonne University PhD graduates, regardless of their situation at the time (e.g., with or without funding) or now (with or without employment).
  • Completing this questionnaire will take about 20 minutes.

 

Before you begin, please read carefully the notice below:

This study is conducted by Sorbonne University with the aim of carrying out scientific research on doctoral supervision, with the ultimate goal of providing optional tools for supervisors and PhD students to assist them in completing a doctorate and supervising doctoral candidates. This study is being conducted with the support and scientific collaboration of the Interdisciplinary Doctorate Laboratory of Adoc Talent Management and the LIP/PC2S Laboratory of the University of Grenoble Alpes.

Data treatment: All your personal information will be anonymized and aggregated. It will only be processed by the researchers involved in conducting this study. The anonymized or aggregated data may be used in publications or scientific presentations. Your data will be stored on a secure server based in France in compliance with the GDPR until October 31, 2025. After this period, the data will be permanently archived on encrypted storage and can only be accessed for scientific purposes.

Consent and participation: the legal basis for processing your data is your informed consent. Your participation in the study is free and voluntary. You are free to withdraw or cease your participation in the study at any time and without any prejudice.
